  • Artwork for Purchase: Yetzirah Art creates original pieces available for purchase. What is the meaning and origin of the name Yetzirah Art?

The name Yetzirah is derived from the Hebrew word Yetzirah (יצירה), which translates to "creation" or "formation." In Jewish mysticism, Yetzirah is also one of the four spiritual worlds, representing the realm of formation and creativity—a space where raw potential takes shape into something tangible and meaningful.

At Yetzirah Art, this concept deeply resonates with our mission. Our work reflects this process of transformation, where ideas and inspiration are skillfully formed into unique, meaningful pieces of art. The name encapsulates not just what we create but also the creative journey itself—the intentional and soulful crafting of every piece.

What are the different ways I can have the artwork printed?

We offer two great printing options for our artwork:

  1. Standard Print: This is the traditional high-quality print option, perfect for framing and display in any setting. Available in a range of sizes, this option offers sharp, vibrant colors and lasting durability.

  2. Laminated Print: For a more affordable and flexible option, we also offer laminated prints. These are printed on the same high-quality material but then laminated for added durability and protection. Laminated prints are a great choice for more casual spaces like dorm rooms, a Sukkah, or even as a gift. The lamination adds a smooth, glossy finish and can be easily hung without needing a frame, making it a cost-effective way to enjoy the artwork.

Both options are available in the same standard sizes (8x10, 16x20), so you can choose what works best for your needs and budget.

Lessons

How can I stay up to date about new programming & classes?

You can stay updated by subscribing to our Info & Updates WhatsApp group or signing up for our email list. This will keep you informed about new classes and programming that we offer.

Drop off & pick up

Parents are requested to be on time for all drop-offs and pickups to avoid disrupting the flow of other classes.

Do you offer classes for different skill levels?

Our drawing classes are designed to welcome students of all skill levels. Each class provides the opportunity for students to build on their unique abilities, with guidance tailored to their current level. Beginners and advanced artists can grow together in the same class, as everyone is encouraged to develop their skills at their own pace.

Are there advanced classes available for experienced students?

Experienced students can continue to progress in our regular classes, as drills and activities are adjusted to their skill level. For those seeking more individualized instruction, private lessons are also available.

What is the minimum age requirement for your classes?

We typically offer classes for children from upper elementary through high school, as these are the age groups that show the most interest. However, we are open to creating classes for younger children or adults if there is sufficient interest.

Class Structure & Curriculum​

The structure of our drawing classes is flexible to meet the needs of each student and class size. Students may work on individual projects or explore different techniques, depending on the class. The instructor provides personalized attention, offering feedback, guidance, and support throughout the session. Whether focusing on mastering basic techniques or refining more advanced skills, the class is designed to help students build confidence and develop their artistic abilities at their own pace.

Will I complete an artwork by the end of the session? 

Participants work at their own pace and may not complete an artwork or master a particular skill within the session. Progress depends on a combination of factors, including motivation, effort, and natural ability. While mastering a skill isn't guaranteed, participants will likely gain a better understanding of their abilities and progress after a few classes, helping them identify the next steps to take.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds for missed classes. When you sign up, you are reserving a slot in the class, which ensures that space is available and helps maintain the quality and structure of our program.

If there is a specific date you know at the time of registration that you will not be able to attend, please reach out to us to discuss before registering.

Additionally, if there are extenuating circumstances, you may reach out as well. We will do our best to accommodate, and in some cases, we may be able to offer a makeup class or other arrangement. These requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

What are the cost for lessons? 

  • The cost for group lessons is $100 per session (each session includes five classes), plus a $10 supply fee. Participants who register by the early bird deadline may have the supply fee waived, when applying the promo code EARLYBIRD.
  • The cost for private lessons is $75. A reduced rate of $65 is available when booking three or more lessons at a time.
  • The cost for a semi-private lesson is $40 per participant.
     

When is payment due?

Payment is due at the time of registration. Verbal or written confirmation without payment will not reserve a spot.

Can students keep the art supplies provided during the lessons?

The art supplies provided during lessons are for in-class use only, but we are happy to guide you on where to find similar materials so you can continue practicing at home.

Private Lessons

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, we offer private lessons tailored to individual needs. Contact us to schedule a session.

What is the cost for private lessons?

The cost of private lessons is $75 per class. A reduced rate of $65 is available when booking three or more lessons at a time. Semi-private lessons are also available. Please contact Yetzirah Art to check availability and arrange a time.

Can siblings or friends share a private lesson?

Yes, private lessons can be booked as either private or semi-private. Siblings or friends may share a lesson.

What is a semi-private lesson?

Semi-private lessons offer many of the same advantages as private lessons. Participants receive a greater level of personalized instruction than they would in a group setting, and they can customize the lesson based on their goals. Semi-private lessons may be shared with a friend or sibling, or the lesson time can be divided. Lessons are $40 for each participant and last approximately 1 hour.

Art Work For Purchase

How can I purchase artwork from Yetzirah Art?

You can easily purchase artwork directly through our website. Simply browse our available pieces, select the one you’d like to purchase, and follow the prompts to complete your order. If you need any assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us.

When will my order be shipped?

We strive to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. Most orders are prepared and sent out within 24 hours, and often even sooner. While we cannot guarantee exact processing times, we make every effort to get your artwork on its way promptly.

Once I purchase a portrait, can I make copies of it?

No, all reproduction rights remain the exclusive property of YetzirahArt.com. Purchasing a portrait grants you ownership of the physical artwork, but not the right to reproduce it in any form. If you are interested in obtaining reproduction rights, please contact us to discuss options.

Is the artwork I’m purchasing an original?

The artwork you are purchasing is a high-quality reproduction produced with remarkable precision and attention to detail. These reproductions closely mirror the look and feel of the original, offering you the beauty of fine art at an accessible price.

Do you offer wholesale pricing for businesses or large orders?

Yes, we offer wholesale pricing for businesses or organizations interested in purchasing artwork in bulk. Please contact us for more information, and we will provide you with details about pricing, availability, and ordering.

Payments & Discounts

How do I apply a coupon code?

After completing the registration form, the next step is to fill out payment information.  At the top of the payment page there is a selection that says “Click here to enter your code”.  Click on this selection and apply your code.
